Induction motors with power outputs from 2 kW to 150 kW with standard speed, designed for use in nuclear power plants. Seismic resistance of the motors 1a; axis height 100L-315L; TID = 350000 Gy – LOCA accident.
The motors are designed in axis heights from 112 mm to 560 mm, with torque up to 20 000 Nm. The motors can be made in open version IP23 or in enclosed version IP54, cooled by air or liquid. These synchronous motors can be used also in generator operation.
Motors with permanent magnets on the rotor with high torque values at a low speed. They are motors with a high pole number. As a standard, the motors are available with water cooling. Primarily, they are designed to be built in higher functional units.
Low-speed motors (PM, PMH, PMT, SPMH)
The three-phase low-speed induction or synchronous motors with permanent magnets are designed for direct (gearless) drives of axial fans in cooling towers. The motors are supplied from either the 50Hz mains or static frequency converters. They are intended for environments with ambient temperatures up to 60°C.
Synchronous hoisting motors with PM for direct drive
The synchronous hoisting motors of SVM series are designed for direct drives of lifts without using gearboxes. They are supplied from frequency converters. They are made in a torque range from 220 to 1 250 Nm.
